A short drive north of Parksville will bring you to Qualicum Beach. Along the seaside promenade enjoy stunning views of Lasqueti and Texada Islands, backstopped by the majestic snowcapped peaks of the coastal mountains on the mainland. The promenade features an extended parking area and public walkway under stately shade trees - just the spot for a leisurely picnic and afternoon at the beach, or a quick ice cream and the opportunity to stick your bare feet into the sand and the ocean on a hot summer's day.
